Pattern Review: Granny Ripple Bag

When I found this pattern on Pinterest I was instantly attracted. Partly because I have an unhealthy obsession with large bags, and because I have an equally unhealthy obsession with granny squares. The colors the designer chose instantly drew me in, but it was the simplicity and easiness of the pattern that I really fell in love with.

I had a giant basket of cotton and this bag was the only fully matching bag I could make. I kinda like it! It worked up so fast I was done in one night. So of course I had to start another one! This time I'm using all of the half skeins of cotton I have left that I don't know what to do with. This may be too 'out there' for some, but I love it! It's also a size larger than the bag above. Oh, did I mention that the pattern includes how to make a larger or smaller bag? The adjustment is really easy!

It's crazy isn't it? I love it :D

Here is a close up of the chevron pattern the bag makes. You could easily make this a striped bag, or use a few different colors! It's very stylish, and you could easily line it with fabric when you finish it and use it as a purse.

You can find the pattern in The Hook Hound's Etsy shop. She also has a bunch of other patterns so be sure to check those out too!!

I hope you all enjoyed this review and make sure you keep an eye out in my Etsy shop for some of these bags for sale!
