Card Sleeve Free Crochet Pattern! (Use for gift cards!)

Hello everyone!

I really love this time of year. The holidays right around the corner, the anticipation and excitement, and of course getting to bundle up under a nice cozy blanket with some tea!

I've been really trying to enjoy this time with my family, especially by beginning some new holiday traditions! Because of that I will probably be posting less frequently, but the ideas are still flowing!
I've got my notebook full of ideas written down so when the holidays are over I can get back in full swing!

In the meantime, I've been working on something I like to call an instant gratification project. Meaning I can sit down and start something and be ale to finish and use it within 5-10-15-20 minutes.

This took me about 5-10 minutes to whip up. I was waiting around for Jude to wake up from his nap so we could go grocery shopping. Looking for something to keep me busy, and remembering the discussion between me and my hubby about the debit card always going missing - I blame it on the mommy brain - I decided to make a little sleeve to give it a home.
When thinking about design I wanted something flat that could fit in my back pocket and easy to access (as a mom I usually don't have two hands to undo a button and slip out my cards, then button it back up when im done. Try doing that holding a one year old trying to grab your card out of your hand! Ha).

Alright, enough chit chat, let's get on with this pattern. I don't even know if I should call it that, it's so easy, and I'm sure someone has already come up with it, but I'll share anyways! ;)

What you need
A small amount of sock yarn
F sized crochet hook

Pattern

Chain 11
SC in 2nd chain from hook and each ch after.
You will now work in rounds, so place a stitch marker to remember where your row begins/ends, and continue single crocheting around.
Yup, that's it! When you reach the desired height finish off and weave in your ends.

Now you can shop away with a bright colored place for all your necessary cards. You could even make a few to house gift cards for the upcoming gift giving season!

Enjoy! And as always if you have any questions leave a comment below! I love to hear from you :)
